Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and fluency in both English and local Malaysian languages.

About the position:

The General Manager will establish and lead our new branch in Malaysia, developing strategic business initiatives while building a strong local presence in the Southeast Asian market. The ideal candidate will combine Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O expertise with entrepreneurial leadership to drive business growth in alignment with our global vision.

Job Task:

Strategic Leadership & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for the Malaysia branch, ensuring alignment with headquarters while adapting to local market conditions.
  • Identify and cultivate market opportunities throughout Southeast Asia, establishing a robust client network to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Represent the company in key industry forums and develop strategic partnerships to enhance market positioning.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the branch, implementing effective systems and processes to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to achieve business targets.
  • Establish compliance frameworks aligned with Malaysian regulations and company governance standards.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Expertise:

  • Leverage deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to develop market-specific solutions.
  • Build relationships with Microsoft ecosystem partners to enhance solution offerings and create competitive advantages.
  • Guide technical teams in solution development and implementation, ensuring client satisfaction and business value.

Talent & Culture Development:

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing multicultural team aligned with company values.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and performance excellence.
  • Implement effective performance management systems to drive team development and retention.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and the Malaysia branch, ensuring effective communication.
  • Represent the company with clients, partners, and the broader business community.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional fluency in English (assessment required during interview process).
  • Professional fluency in the local languages of Malaysia.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in sales, implementation, or solution management roles.
