Glimex Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and experienced Driver GDL E to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This full-time position requires safe operation of company vehicles and adherence to safety standards.

You will support manufacturing, transport and logistics operations with timely delivery and professional customer service. Ideal candidates hold a valid GDL E license with a clean record, at least three years of relevant experience, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Valid GDL E license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial vehicle driver, preferably in manufacturing, transport or logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report vehicle issues or maintenance needs.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations and safety best practices.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and manoeuvre company vehicles, including trucks, to transport goods and materials to various destinations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, condition, and any incidents or issues.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients and stakeholders.
