Accenture in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable enterprise applications in a cloud-first environment. This role blends front-end expertise with backend engineering and architecture leadership to create secure, high-performing solutions.

As a senior engineer, you will guide architecture decisions, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product owners to deliver innovative digital solutions using React, Java, Spring Boot, and modern DevOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in full‑stack software engineering within enterprise environments.

About the Role

Accenture is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable enterprise applications in a cloud-first environment. This role combines deep front-end expertise with backend engineering and architectural leadership to create resilient, secure, and high-performing solutions that drive business value.

As a senior engineering professional, you will own technical design decisions, guide development teams on architecture and best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative digital solutions using modern technologies and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full stack applications using React, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot technologies.
• Own service-level design, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, performance, and maintainability of applications.
• Guide the squad on design patterns, integration architecture, system decomposition, and end-to-end data flows.
• Develop responsive and user-centric front-end applications using React and Redux.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement distributed caching solutions using Redis to improve system performance and availability.
• Drive containerized application deployment and orchestration using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead code reviews and promote engineering excellence through best practices, automation, and testing.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across architecture, development, and delivery activities.
• Support release management, application lifecycle management, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployments.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in full stack software engineering within enterprise environments.
• Expert proficiency in React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot application development.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with distributed caching technologies such as Redis.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native architectures.
• Demonstrated expertise in service design, integration architecture, API design, and data flow modeling.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Release Management, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js and advanced front-end/back-end JavaScript development.
• Experience with public cloud platforms and cloud-native application modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization practices.
• Experience leading technical squads or engineering teams.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, or software engineering certifications.
