Job summary

Involve Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to own end-to-end web app development on the full stack. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build and enhance our web applications.

You will collaborate to ship features, improve performance, and leverage AI-assisted tooling for productivity. The role emphasizes independent work, proactive learning, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on fullstack development.
• Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Laravel, and PHP.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and modern web architecture.
• Experience with NextJS and Blade templating.
• Proactive, independent worker with good communication.
• Experience using AI tools during development (Copilot, Tabnine, Claude).

Responsibilities

• Fullstack development and ownership of features.
• Build and maintain web applications across the full stack.
• Own mid-sized features from design to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues promptly.
• Work with products/stakeholders to deliver business value.
• Communicate feedback and seek guidance from seniors when blocked.
• AI tooling enablement and productivity improvements.
• Integrate and suggest tool improvements for team efficiency.
