Job summary

Marketsense is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain scalable web applications in Kuala Lumpur. You will work on both front-end and back-end development, delivering robust APIs, and designing efficient database structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of full stack development experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong backend experience (Laravel, PHP, Python or similar)
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Deployment workflow experiences (DevOps, CI/CD pipelines)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architectures
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS or Azure or GCP)

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications across both front-end and back-end environments
• Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks and technologies
• Develop and manage APIs, as well as design and optimize database structures
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through best practices and continuous optimization
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues while continuously improving system performance and reliability
