Job summary

Hexamatics Servvcom Sdn Bhd is seeking a Hands-on Full-Stack Engineer to own feature delivery end-to-end, from Spring Boot APIs and data access to Angular frontends. Modernize legacy Java and PHP components and contribute to a future‑state cloud‑ready architecture with containerization and CI/CD practices.

The role requires strong Java with Spring Boot, Angular experience, JWT security, and API design. You will work across repositories, integrate diverse external APIs, and implement testing

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Java engineering experience with Spring Boot 2.x or 3.x in production environments.
• 3+ years of Angular experience, preferably Angular 16 or above, with feature modules, lazy routing, RxJS, reactive forms, and Angular Material.
• Experience modernizing legacy Java, PHP, or monolithic systems into modern service-based architecture.
• Experience with JWT-based stateless authentication, role-based access control, and secure API design.
• Understanding of REST API design, OpenAPI / Swagger documentation, versioning, and API contract discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs using Spring Boot 3 and Java 21
• Modernize legacy Java and PHP components into maintainable Spring Boot services and Angular frontends
• Contribute to cloud modernization, containerization, CI/CD readiness, and cloud‑ready deployment patterns
• Implement Spring Security filter chains, JWT validation, and multi‑role authorization
• Build Angular feature modules using Angular Material, RxJS, reactive forms, lazy routing, and modern component patterns
• Integrate with external payment, telco, and provider APIs using REST, SOAP, XML, and secure API patterns
• Write scheduled and asynchronous background jobs for transaction reconciliation, reporting, and system maintenance
• Maintain and extend centralized authentication and authorisation services
• Produce operational Excel and PDF reports using Apache POI and related reporting libraries
• Write unit and integration tests using Spring Boot Test, MockMvc, Karma, Jasmine, and appropriate frontend testing practices

About you

4+ years of Java engineering experience with Spring Boot 2.x or 3.x in production environments

Strong understanding of Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, HikariCP, MySQL, and transactional service design

3+ years of Angular experience, preferably Angular 16 or above, with feature modules, lazy routing, RxJS, reactive forms, and Angular Material

Experience modernizing legacy Java, PHP, or monolithic systems into modern service-based architecture

Experience with JWT-based stateless authentication, role-based access control, and secure API design

Understanding of REST API design, OpenAPI / Swagger documentation, versioning, and API contract discipline

Comfortable working across multiple concurrent repositories, services, and delivery streams

Practical exposure to Docker, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-oriented deployment practices

Active user of AI coding copilots with sound engineering judgement and review discipline
