Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment in Kuala Lumpur seeks a full-time software engineer to develop, improve, and maintain live software products across frontend and backend components. You will build frontend functionality with React and TypeScript, supported by HTML and CSS, and develop backend services in Python using Flask, Django, and FastAPI.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering live software products with frontend and backend components.
• Ability to understand unfamiliar codebases and trace problems across connected systems.
• Strong development practices including version control, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and maintain software products across frontend and backend components, taking responsibility through implementation, testing, and ongoing operation.
• Build frontend functionality using React and TypeScript, supported by HTML and CSS.
• Develop backend services within a Python environment, including Flask, Django, and FastAPI.
• Design, build, test, and maintain APIs and integrations between internal applications and external systems (REST, OData, SOAP).
• Create and modify APIs within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and connect them to applications.
• Build Power BI reports in collaboration with business colleagues and address reporting needs and issues.
• Collaborate with development partners through delivery and handover, maintain documentation for ongoing development and support.
• Contribute to user journeys and interface improvements and present work to business stakeholders.
• Diagnose defects and integration failures, investigate causes, and implement fixes.
• Implement application logging and monitoring, and coordinate deployments and service recovery with infra teams.
