Job summary

Unison Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a backend engineer to design, build and scale backend services and APIs. You will develop business logic, orchestrate services, and manage data flows across systems.

You will work with databases and data pipelines, implement logging, monitoring, and error handling, and support deployment cycles from UAT to production enhancements. Exposure to ReactJS/TypeScript will complement the fullstack scope.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years backend/fullstack development experience.
• Proficient in NodeJS and ExpressJS.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda and API Gateway.
• Strong REST API development and integration patterns.
• Strong SQL and database interaction (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Exposure to frontend technologies (ReactJS, TypeScript) for fullstack scope.
