Job summary

Luxoft in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to a strategic program delivering cloud-native backends for AI modules. You will design, develop, test, and deploy microservice-based applications across frontend and backend using Node.js, TypeScript, Python, and .NET Core.

You will leverage AWS, IaC with CloudFormation, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability, scalability, and security while collaborating in an Agile, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer developing production-grade applications.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js/TypeScript and Python.
• Experience designing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on AWS and building cloud-native applications.
• Experience with IaC using AWS CloudFormation.
• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
• Experience with unit testing and automated End-to-End testing.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development.
• CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery.
• Application monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong practices for clean code, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Ability to work in Agile teams and collaborate across distributed groups.
• Good English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservice-based applications across frontend and backend.
• Develop backend services and APIs using C#/.NET Core, Node.js, and Python.
• Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging AWS cloud services.
• Define, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation.
• Maintain integrations between microservices and platform components.
• Develop unit tests and automated End-to-End tests to ensure reliability.
• Containerize applications with Docker and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot production issues, and improve performance.
• Participate in code reviews and solution design discussions.
• Apply software engineering best practices and work in an Agile environment.
