Job summary

Cleve is seeking a hands-on engineer to own features end-to-end on a product used by 40,000+ users. You'll work directly with Rashad, our CTO, to build the core editor, the AI layer, and the real-time infrastructure that keeps everything running.

In a small team with no layers of approval, you’ll ship fast from design to production, influence product decisions, and ensure UX quality as you grow the platform with React, TypeScript, and Convex-based backends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience with React and TypeScript
• A track record of shipping full-stack features that real users depend on
• Strong product intuition. You care about what users actually feel, not just whether the code is correct

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features from design to production
• Work on our AI layer: RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, and context-aware agents
• Improve performance across our Next.js frontend and Convex backend
• Shape product decisions, not just implement them
