Job description
Overview

A passionate, qualified, and experienced French Language Teacher to join our international academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality French lessons to Upper Primary students (Years 4–6) following the Cambridge IGCSE framework, and preparing students for progression to secondary level French. Deliver engaging and interactive French language lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and CEFR standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement lesson plans that cater to a range of learning abilities and support language acquisition across speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Use a variety of teaching techniques and resources to support a student-centre learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Foster a love for languages and global cultures through class discussions, activities, and enrichment projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in planning, curriculum development, and school events.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences, meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
