Job summary

The Language Group LLC is seeking a remote interpreter to facilitate accurate communication between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers. This role requires adherence to professional standards and strict confidentiality in a quiet, distraction-free environment.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years interpreting experience (OPI/VRI preferred), relevant certifications, and strong interpersonal and computer skills to support healthcare and social services access.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum interpreting experience; OPI/VRI preferred.
• National or State Interpreter Certification such as CHI, CMI, NIC, CI/CT, VQAS (if available in your language).
• Knowledge of medical, educational, and social services terminology in source and target language.
• 40 hours or more interpreter training.
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, time management and basic computer skills.
• Must provide fluency test results for English and target language.

• Must always maintain patient confidentiality

• A knowledgeable command of Medical, Educational, and social services terminology in source and target language
