Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Penang, Bayan Lepas is seeking an expert digital hardware engineer to lead and design hardware for test and measurement instruments. You will work on digital, analog and mixed-signal systems and drive cross-functional collaboration with mechanical and software teams.

Responsibilities include leading system hardware design, high-speed interfaces, and architecture definition while promoting reusable design practices and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Understanding and experience in full product development cycle.
• Experience in hardware and software system integration.
• Knowledge of embedded system design and operation.
• Experience with FPGA design tools (Modelsim/QuestaSim, Vivado, Quartus).
• Strong organizational, planning and communication skills; able to work in a team.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design for digital, analog and mixed-signal systems.
• Design and oversee high-speed digital interfaces (PCI-E, USB, LAN, SPI, I2C).
• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to optimize hardware system performance.
• Develop hardware design documents and promote reusable design blocks.
• Drive hardware-software integration and system-level verification.
• Establish hardware design processes and documentation standards.
• Guide the design team through architecture and feasibility studies.
