Job summary

AIngineer Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a mid-level software engineer to help bring our AI agents from pilot to production on-site with enterprise customers. You will write code that connects our AI agents to customer systems and feed field learnings back into the product.

You will embed with customer IT teams, build integrations to repositories, maintenance systems and IoT historians, and configure domain-specific models for each deployment, while leading go-live support and driving

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production software in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases and cloud platforms (Azure).
• Willingness to work on-site with customer sites and present to engineers/managers.

Responsibilities

Work on site with our enterprise customers to take AIngineer from pilot to production. You will write the code that connects our AI agents to customer systems, and bring what you learn in the field straight back into the product.

What you will do

• Embed with customer engineering and IT teams to understand their workflows, data and success measures.
• Build and ship integrations between our platform and customer systems such as document repositories, maintenance management systems and IoT historians.
• Configure domain-specific models and AI agents for each deployment, and measure answer quality against agreed benchmarks.
• Lead technical workshops, user onboarding and go-live support.
• Turn recurring field requests into reusable product features together with the core engineering team.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years building production software in Python or TypeScript, ideally in a customer-facing role.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SQL databases and cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Confident presenting to engineers and managers alike, and comfortable working at customer sites.
• Bonus: experience with LLM applications or exposure to the energy, oil and gas or industrial sector.
