JOB DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTION OPERATOR
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Prepare production equipment according to the production schedule and product specifications. Verify all settings are accurate before commencing operations.
- Operate and monitor machines during production to ensure correct and efficient functioning.
- Make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal performance and product quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues to prevent production interruptions. Promptly report major breakdowns to section heads and maintenance personnel for repairs.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage conditions are maintained.
- Conduct regular stock checks and promptly report shortages or discrepancies to section heads.
- Measure and prepare ingredients according to standardized recipes. Load ingredients into machines and monitor mixing, baking, and packaging processes to ensure products meet quality standards at each stage.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines. Minimize waste and optimize the use of materials and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch records, equipment logs, and quality control reports. Ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Perform regular quality checks on products during various stages of production.
- Ensure all products comply with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, HACCP, HALAL).
- Report any quality issues related to food safety to section heads. Implement corrective actions to address quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace. Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas according to company hygiene standards.
- Support any ad hoc activities as required to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
