Job summary

An energy company located in Malaysia is seeking an experienced flow assurance engineer. You will perform analyses for offshore and deepwater developments, support specialist studies, and contribute to project execution. The ideal candidate must hold a recognized Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and possess strong analytical and teamwork skills. Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform flow assurance analyses and calculations for offshore and deepwater developments.
• Support studies related to hydrates, wax, asphaltenes, scale, corrosion, erosion, and slugging.
• Assist in flow assurance inputs during concept selection, FEED, and detailed design phases.
• Support specialist studies for transient operations such as start-up, shutdown, and upset conditions.
• Contribute to the development and review of flow assurance management plans, operating philosophies, and procedures.
• Provide technical support to operations for troubleshooting and production optimisation.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors to support project execution.
• Prepare and review technical reports and engineering deliverables in accordance with project requirements.

Requirement

• Possess at least a recognized Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
• Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) for local candidates.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant flow assurance experience.
• At least 3 years of experience relevant to the work scope.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in deepwater projects or specialist flow assurance studies.
• Basic understanding of offshore and deepwater production systems.
• Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
