Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) is seeking a friendly Shop Assistant for KK SUPERMART in Damansara Jaya, Selangor. This part-time role offers flexible hours and a chance to gain valuable retail experience while delivering excellent customer service.

You will process transactions at the till, stock shelves, maintain attractive displays, keep the store clean, and assist customers with product information. Reliable, punctual candidates with good communication thrive in our team.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly, helpful and patient demeanour.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic numeracy and familiarity with till systems or willingness to learn.
• Reliability and punctuality with flexible part‑time scheduling.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, efficient and professional customer service to all shoppers.
• Processing customer transactions accurately at the till.
• Stocking shelves with merchandise and maintaining attractive displays.
• Ensuring the store environment remains clean, tidy and well‑maintained.
• Assisting customers with product information and locating items.
• Conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies to management.
• Supporting the wider team with various store duties as required.
