Job summary

TeXphere Learning Center is seeking a passionate Part-Time Robotics & Coding Tutor to join our team. You will work with preschool, primary, and secondary students, helping them develop skills in robotics, coding, AI, and hands-on STEM activities.

Responsibilities include teaching 4–16 year-olds, guiding projects, and creating engaging lessons using Canva, PowerPoint, and Google Slides. Weekends may be required; training and materials are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree or currently studying in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• Students and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of robotics, Scratch/block coding, Python, or other programming languages.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Comfortable communicating with children and parents.
• Comfortable using Canva, PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar presentation tools.
• Patient, responsible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
• Teaching or tutoring experience with children is an advantage.
• Experience teaching small groups of children is preferred.
• Able to commit to scheduled classes consistently, including weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Teach robotics, coding, and STEM-related activities to children aged 4–16.
• Guide students through hands-on projects and activities.
• Conduct engaging lessons using our provided curriculum and teaching materials.
• Create or adapt lesson materials using Canva, PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar tools.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate students’ learning progress to parents when required.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Ensure students remain engaged and participate actively during lessons.
