Job summary

The Penang Skills Development Centre is seeking a Part-Time Mathematics / Computing Lecturer to teach foundation-level courses. This position requires expertise in mathematics or computing, along with a passion for teaching and supporting student success. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree and prior teaching experience, along with proficiency in digital tools and a commitment to professional development.

Qualifications

• Prior teaching or training experience at diploma, college, or university level is preferred.
• Industry experience in relevant fields, especially programming or data-related roles is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) or MQA requirements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Teach foundation-level courses in mathematics or computing.
• Develop instructional materials and course content.
• Provide academic support to students during consultation hours.
