Job description

The Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for driving corporate sales growth across government agencies, private companies, leasing firms, rental operators and other institutional clients. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, developing tailored fleet solutions and expanding the company’s presence within the corporate and government sectors. The Fleet Sales Manager works closely with internal teams to design proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery. Strong relationship-building skills, strategic acumen and a deep understanding of procurement requirements are essential to succeed in this role. The manager also monitors market movements, prepares detailed analyses and ensures alignment with company objectives to support sustainable fleet expansion.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute fleet sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets across government, GLCs, SMEs and large corporate clients.
  • Identify and secure new fleet opportunities through proactive engagement, tenders, presentations and relationship management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with procurement departments, fleet managers, decision-makers and key stakeholders within public and private sectors.
  • Lead the bid and tender process, including proposal preparation, pricing strategies and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, logistics and aftersales teams to develop customized fleet solutions and value propositions.
  • Monitor fleet market trends, competitor activities and industry developments, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Coordinate vehicle delivery planning, aftersales support arrangements and service-level agreements (SLAs) with relevant departments.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly reports covering sales performance, pipeline development, tender updates and market intelligence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, automotive management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fleet, corporate or institutional sales within the automotive industry, preferably handling government and corporate accounts.
  • Strong understanding of procurement procedures, tender processes and corporate contracting requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales analytics tools and proposal development.
  • Strong business acumen with in-depth knowledge of automotive products, fleet management practices and market dynamics.
  • Ability to travel domestically for client meetings, presentations and business development activities.
