You'll be working for a market leader within the fund management industry who is looking for a fixed income analyst. With an aggressive growth plan and the vision to become a better leader in its field, it continues to gain market share over its competitors.

Your new role

As a Fixed Income Analyst, you're responsible for:

  • Conducting fundamental, credit and technical analysis on companies, industries, regulations, and economies for the Malaysian & Global Bond portfolios.
  • Primary focus will be on local and foreign financial institutions (FI) and non-banking financial institutions (NBFI) for credits and foreign universe for credits.
  • Constructing and reviewing financial models and forecasts focusing on liquidity, leverage, and cash flow ratios.
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality written investment recommendations and other credit-related presentations to the local and regional investment committees.
What you'll need to succeed
  • At least 3 years’ experience in credit analytics, particularly on the banking and non-bank financial institution sectors, for both local and global bond markets.
  • Work experience in a rating agency would be an added advantage.
  • Professional certification such as CFA or PKMC would be an added advantage.
