Job summary

Air Products in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, is seeking a fitter to perform cutting, fitting and assembly tasks in line with production orders, drawings and working instructions. You will operate safely and efficiently to support manufacturing activities.

The role requires at least two years of pipe or pressure vessel fabrication, reading ISO drawings, good communication, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility to help deliver quality outcomes.

Purpose

The job of fitter is done for the purpose/s of finishing the manufacturing work.

Nature and Scope

Implement production tasks according to the production order, drawings, and working instructions.

Principal Accountabilities

• Perform the cutting, fitting and assembly work during the production according to the related production orders, drawings, and relevant documents;
• Perform related work as the superior assigned in conformity with the specify quality and quantity;
• Involve the activities of improvement and trainings in workshop;
• Any duties assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Middle school background or above;
• Good communication skill, teamwork and high sense of responsibility
• At least 2 years work experience in pipe or pressure vessel fabrication, ability of reading pressure vessel and ISO drawing;
• Work experience in pressure vessel manufacture or industrial piping system/equipments installation environment is preferred.
