Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, coordinate and monitor the implementation of Wellness Framework.
  • Develop and implement SHE management systems to improve safety and health performance.
  • Assist Statutory SHE audits and inspections at all premises of the Bank.
  • Monitor relevant policies on OSH Incidents/Accident Reporting System.

Job description
POSITION: First Level Executive, Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) & Wellness | Organisational Security Management Department (OSeM)
ROLE PURPOSE

Plan, organize, coordinate and monitor the implementation of Wellness Framework and responsible for overall Safety, Health and Environmental Framework ensure compliance with statutory requirements and approved practices to ensure overall Safety, Health and Environmental in the bank.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Promote BNM Wellness Framework and Effective Execution of SHE Policy and SHE Operating Procedure
  • Develop, review, and implement the Bank’s SHE policy and SHE operating procedure to ensure safe, conducive workplace environment and drive the implementation of BNM Wellness Framework.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and review SHE management systems to continually improve safety and health performance both within the workplace.
2. Compliance with SHE Management Systems involving Minting, Cash Processing, Building Services, Factory and Machineries
  • Assist Statutory SHE audits and inspections (annually, quarterly or any other period deem necessary) at all premises of the Bank, including the Head Office, Regional Offices, Branches, Malaysia Mint (MyMint) and Automated Cash Center (ACC).
3. Monitor Operational Risk Management (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control)
  • Monitor and coordinate relevant policies on OSH Incidents/Accident Reporting System (I-RAISE), SHE Program relevant to the Bank activities and drive implementation of OSeM Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
4. Organizational Wellness Framework and Wellness Services
  • Ensure full implementation and supervise of Bank’s Wellness Framework and efficient delivery of wellness services involving Work-life Assistance Program (WAP), Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Physical Fitness Programs and Staff Occupational Benefits (SOCSO).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Academic Qualifications:

  • Degree or professional qualifications in occupational safety, health, and environment or related discipline.
  • Master's degree in occupational safety and health or engineering background is an added advantage.

Professional registration:

  • Valid Green Book holder (registered SHO with Department of Occupational Safety and Health).
  • Certified Environmental Professional in Schedule Waste Management (CePSWaM) is an added advantage.

Professional accreditation:

  • Train the Trainer (TTT) accreditation by HRDF/NIOSH approved bodies.
  • Certified or Competent as Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor on Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) or ISO 45001:2018 approved by NIOSH or SIRIM is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Safety, Health and Environmental.
