Overview

POSITION: First Level Executive, Governance | Centralised Procurement Department

Role Purpose

The Governance Executive is responsible for supporting the Governance Lead in establishing and managing all procurement related policies, its operational requirements and sustainability initiatives to ensure they incorporate industry\'s best practices, fit for purpose, and are aligned with the Bank\'s priorities and strategic outcomes. The individual will assist the Governance Lead to drive the culture of best practice within procurement by providing active communications and training to stakeholders, identifying, and recommending process improvement opportunities, and timely attending to stakeholder\'s queries and advisory requests on procurement related policies and requirements.

Principal Accountabilities
  1. Support the Governance Lead to conduct periodic review on the procurement policies / frameworks, identify and recommend potential areas for improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Bank's procurement experience.
  2. Support the Governance Lead to conduct benchmarking, market research, engage with key stakeholders to propose potential improvement areas in procurement and sustainability.
  3. Plan and conduct procurement related training and awareness initiatives to ensure consistent awareness and understanding of procurement standards Bank wide to maintain transparency and integrity in procurement processes.
  4. Execute continuous improvement initiatives on procurement processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Bank's procurement experience.
  5. Timely attend to procurement governance related queries and advisory request received from the stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Accounting or Legal.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in procurement governance, risk and compliance or similar functions.
