A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking a Firmware Verification Lead for the Data Center / Server Security team. This role entails leading firmware validation solutions, automating test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have a university degree in computer science or engineering, along with 5–7 years of experience in firmware validation, and should possess strong communication skills. The Firmware Security Engineering group is responsible for developing Platform Security and Content Protection features across the software stack including device drivers, firmware, and application-level interfaces.Within the larger Security group, the GPU Platform Security Team is responsible for the Firmware Security Stack that runs on the entire range of AMD Graphics Processing Units which include Cloud/Consumer Gaming, Workstation, Data Center and AI, enabling our customers to build solutions and driving the next wave of innovation in Exascale computing.

What you will do as part of this team:
As the Firmware Verification Domain Lead, you will be responsible for enhancing and expanding test coverage for security firmware features across a range of hardware platforms. This includes designing, implementing, and automating test cases that validate the functionality, performance, and security aspects of low-level firmware components. You will work closely with firmware developers, validation teams, and cross‑functional hardware/software stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle—including pre‑silicon environments such as simulators, FPGAs, and emulation platforms.
