Job summary

A financial technology company located in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced accountant to handle the full spectrum of accounting functions. Responsibilities include financial reporting, compliance with local standards, and managing audits. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, at least 3 years of related experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. A CPA or CIA designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CIA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in the financial sector an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting functions including AR, AP, FA & General Ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting.
• Prepare cashflow forecast and liaise with banks for liquidity.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Responsible for the external and internal financial and tax audits.
• Responsible for the monthly forecast and annual budget.
