Financial Services Career Apprentice (Internship)

A 12-week hands‑on career apprenticeship designed who want real exposure to the financial services and life‑insurance industry. You will learn, practise, meet people, join real field activities and receive 1-to-1 mentoring from an experienced agency leader.

You may be studying:

Business

• Finance
• Accounting
• Marketing
• HR
• Management

Other fields are welcome if you have a genuine interest in business, people and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

Weeks 1–4: Understand the financial services industry, discover your strengths and career aspirations, learn financial planning & insurance fundamentals, build communication and presentation skills, develop your professional social‑media presence, experience prospecting and Joint Field Work

Weeks 5–8: Practise client communication, learn appointment and follow‑up skills, participate in real field activities, observe actual client meetings, receive weekly coaching and feedback, build confidence through practical experience

Weeks 9–12: Apply what you have learned, handle activities with increasing independence, strengthen presentation and people skills, receive career mentoring, review your strengths and future direction, explore opportunities to continue in financial services

About you

Malaysian, subject to programme eligibility

Currently studying at college/university or a recent graduate

Able to commit to the full 12‑week programme

Willing to learn and receive coaching

Comfortable communicating with people

Responsible and able to follow through on commitments

Interested in business, financial services or entrepreneurship

Willing to participate in field activities and client‑facing learning

Positive, teachable and self‑motivated

No previous insurance or sales experience required
