Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly key item results reporting for management.
- Preparation of monthly financial accounts closing for subsidiaries.
- Prepare annual financial statements for subsidiaries.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and balances.
- Assist in preparing materials for Board meetings.
- Prepare additional information for submission to BNM.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for subsidiaries.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Provide assistance on finance-related matters for projects.
- Assist in maintaining worksheets on benchmarking and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly selected key item results reporting for management, including fee income analysis, impairment of other assets, dataset for securities, individual assessment, BNM funding, borrowings, etc.
- Preparation of monthly financial accounts closing for semi-dormant and dormant companies, including Group Financial Reporting Package (monthly and quarterly) for management reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting guidelines.
- Preparation of annual financial statements for semi-dormant and dormant subsidiaries, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete disclosure of financial information.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and balances, collaborating with relevant entities to ensure proper reconciliation and alignment of financial records.
- Assist in preparation of presentation materials and supporting analysis for Board of Directors (BOD), Group Management Committee (GMC), and Board Audit Committee (BAC) meetings, providing comprehensive financial insights and recommendations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly additional information for submission to BNM, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and timely submission.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for semi-dormant and dormant subsidiaries, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to align financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and team performance, identifying opportunities for automation, standardisation, and streamlining of financial reporting processes.
- Provide assistance on finance-related matters, such as reporting requirements and investor-related functions, for ad-hoc projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
- Assist in maintaining complete worksheets on competitive industry benchmarking, statutory deck, financial analysis, and market/industry data, assessing the Group's standing in the industry and providing insights for strategic decision-making.
