About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a full‑time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's overseas Hospitality financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organisation's growth and success.

What you'll be doing
  • Preferably candidate with 5 years of hands‑on Hospitality Industry Financial Controller experience
  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support informed decision‑making
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant countries' accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
  • Overseeing the accounts payable and receivable functions, as well as managing cash flow and liquidity
  • Developing and implementing financial systems and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Supervising and mentoring the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Partnering with senior management to develop and execute the company's financial strategy
