  • Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting and statutory submissions.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capex monitoring.
  • Lead financial evaluation of investments and capex proposals.
  • Support audits, risk management, and internal control reviews.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing finance team.

As part of our continued focus on performance, governance, and value creation, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at SBU level to provide strong financial leadership and business partnership.

About the Role

The CFO, SBU will be a key member of the SBU leadership team, functionally reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) and operationally reporting to the Managing Director, SBU. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, discipline, and governance at SBU level while ensuring full alignment with Group financial strategies, policies, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the Managing Director, SBU, supporting business decisions with robust financial insights and analysis.
  • Lead SBU-level financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Monitor financial results against budgets and KPIs; identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance with Group policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting, closing, and statutory submissions.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capex monitoring in collaboration with Group Finance.
  • Lead financial evaluation of investments, capex proposals, and business cases.
  • Support audits, risk management, and internal control reviews.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing finance team at SBU level.
  • Contribute to Group-wide finance initiatives, transformation projects, and system enhancements.
What We’re Looking For
  • Professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
  • Minimum 12–15 years of relevant finance experience, with senior leadership exposure.
  • Strong background in financial control, commercial finance, and performance management.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or diversified business environments is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to operate in a matrix reporting environment and partner senior business leaders.
  • High integrity, strong governance mindset, and sound commercial judgement.
