Job description

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, effective internal controls, and strategic financial planning to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage full spectrum of finance and accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and cash flow management.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements including audit, tax, SST, EPF, SOCSO, and company law.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.

Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support management decision-making.

Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.

Lead, guide, and supervise the finance team to ensure operational efficiency.
