Job summary

Mavens Fourmi Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Junior/Senior Financial Analyst to support financial due diligence and analysis for corporate transactions. You'll work on target company performance, earnings quality, working capital trends, and prepare accounting schedules using Excel.

You will coordinate with clients and professionals, review records, and mentor junior team members while meeting project timelines and delivering high-quality insights.

Qualifications

• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Experience with financial due diligence and deal support.
• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support due diligence by analysing financial performance, earnings quality and working capital.
• Assist in financial analyses and write insightful commentaries for M&A, IPOs and restructurings.
• Prepare and enhance accounting schedules and value-add analyses using Excel.
• Review clients’ records for accuracy; highlight findings and actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with clients and professionals (lawyers, valuers, tax advisors) for smooth execution.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to meet timelines and deliver quality outcomes.
