  • Intermediate to advanced level in Excel required.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and distribute spares and service booking revenue.
  • Run shipment and backlog reports and update forecast files.
  • Create functional area headcount reporting.

Skills

Basic knowledge of US GAAP rules
Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley legislation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Unleash your Potential

As a Financial Analyst, you will be working with utilizing complex financial data from multiple systems to prepare periodic and ad hoc financial and tax reports. Supports the compilation and analysis of financial information across the organization and develops integrated revenue and expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.

You will play an important role in:

a) GCG
  • Consolidate/distribute Spares and Service booking/revenue by BU and location
  • Liaise with Sales, Service and Finance to gather Fcst vs. Act for Travel
  • Liaise with Sales, Service and Finance to gather Fcst vs. Act variance explanations
  • Compute Asia commissions
b) ISG
  • Run shipment and backlog reports and update weekly revenue forecast file
  • Run shipment report, create pivot tables to summarize, distribute margin report
  • Reconcile shipment report (revenue & cost) to P&L monthly
  • General reporting and analytical tasks
c) Other
  • Global Headcount Reporting
  • Create functional area headcount reporting and distribute to functional area leads
  • This would provide total BU reporting + SG&A
  • PnP Recurring by customer, product, margin reporting
  • PnP R&D Project Allocation reporting including weekly distribution of OTL data
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of financial analysis and general accounting experience in public account or private industry. Experience in a global manufacturing company preferred.
  • Skills / Technical Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP rules and corporate tax rules.
  • Basic knowledge of SEC reporting.
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley legislation.
  • Familiarity with multi-company and multi-currency consolidations.
  • MS Office, intermediate level in Excel (preferably advanced), Word, Powerpoint and a range of integrated accounting systems (Oracle background), databases and software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in areas of expertise.
  • Good presentation skills.
