Job summary

A premier film production facility in Johor is seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to ensure financial stability and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will lead the finance team, manage financial reporting, and develop budgets. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields, along with ACCA / CPA / CIMA / MIA qualifications and 5–8 years of relevant experience, are encouraged to apply. Attractive remuneration, including health insurance and annual leave, is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
  • Prepare financial reports for decision-making support.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts with the CEO.
  • Implement internal control policies for safeguarding assets.
  • Evaluate investment proposals for strategic projects.
  • Manage banking relationships and compliance.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as required by management.

About Our Client

Iskandar Malaysia Studios Sdn Bhd is a premier film and television production facility based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, offering world-class studio space and support for local and international media projects.

What you'll be doing?

Lead Finance Team: Guide and develop the Finance & Accounts team to achieve operational excellence.

Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports to support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the CEO to drive financial planning.

Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal control policies to safeguard company assets.

Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment proposals and support strategic projects with financial insights.

Treasury Management: Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Ad-hoc Projects: Handle special projects and assignments as required by Management.

Who are they looking for?

Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional Qualification: ACCA / CPA / CIMA / MIA is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of finance and accounting experience, with managerial experience.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of Malaysian statutory and regulatory requirements.

Skills: Strategic mindset, leadership, and excellent analytical skills.
