Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage O2C operations, including Accounts Receivable.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across O2C functions.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards for performance tracking.
  • Lead project plans for each area and monitor interdependencies.
  • Supervise and uphold treasury activities and anti-money laundering controls.
  • Lead and develop staff, ensuring effective performance evaluation.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage regional O2C operations, including Accounts Receivable and Credit Management activities.
  • Establish and lead the O2C team and operations across all Continental Tyre Malaysia entities in a KPI‑driven shared service centre environment.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across O2C functions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with a focus on improving working capital.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Act as a change agent to promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Support cross‑functional projects and provide financial insights to business partners.
  • Review contracts in the Legal Management System.
Cash Management
  • Lead and manage regional Treasury activities.
  • Monitor and improve cash flow performance through effective receivables management and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to align processes with corporate finance strategies and policies.
  • Maintain policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities, including anti‑money laundering control level 1.
  • Supervise and approve TT, computerize cheques and bills of payment, forex bookings and related transactions.
  • Identify automation opportunities and support implementation of digital tools and technologies.
  • Promote and lead the development of new technology or enhancements to ensure timely delivery of design, process, and specifications that fulfill defined targets and future know‑how.
Project Management and Process Improvement
  • Lead project plans for each area of focus, including implementation actions, status updates and Conti Tyre Malaysia communications.
  • Monitor interdependencies between current projects and those in other Finance areas, communicating with other teams to ensure clear understanding of key timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates to project teams, Business Units, Corporate Treasury and Financing personnel, and Management.
  • Monitor team performance, provide timely feedback, and assist in improving identified training needs.
  • Update supervisors and the team regularly on projects, scheduling communication to ensure awareness of escalation requirements.
Human Resources
  • Lead and develop a highly qualified staff, ensuring succession planning within the organization.
  • Identify clear objectives for the team, providing coaching, career development and feedback, and conducting performance evaluation and reward.
