PETRONAS in Perak, Malaysia seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead planning, budgeting and analysis for multi-year profitability and value creation. You will drive forecasting, cost control and governance, partnering with operations and senior management to safeguard financial performance.

The role requires 5–8 years in finance with ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), IFRS knowledge and strong Excel/Power BI capabilities.

Competenze

• Recognized degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CAANZ or CPA) would be an added advantage.
• 5–8 years of experience in accounting, with emphasis on financial planning, budgeting and analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar) and financial modelling.
• Knowledgeable in IFRS, IAS and statutory requirements.

Mansioni

• Strategic Financial Planning: develop multi-year plans, build financial models and scenario analyses.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: coordinate annual and medium-term budgets, analyze OPEX, CAPEX and variances.
• Financial Performance & Reporting: prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and explain variances.
• Cost Accounting, Pricing & Cost Recovery: perform cost analyses and support pricing decisions.
• Financial Governance: ensure compliance with policies, risk controls and regulatory requirements.
• Financial Systems & Process Enhancement: support improvements to data, reporting and system controls.
• Business Partnering & Decision Support: provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives.
