Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated Finance Operations Engineer to support and enhance Lenovo's global finance application landscape. You will be responsible for operational stability, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical finance systems including SAP ECC, SAP FICO, BPC, Sabrix, Ariba, BlackLine, BRIM, and related finance applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong foundation in finance IT systems.
• Experience supporting global finance applications and services.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC/FICO modules and finance integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for global finance applications and services.
• Monitor production systems and ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of finance platforms.
• Perform incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and external vendors to resolve critical production issues.
• Support period-end close activities and ensure business continuity during financial reporting cycles.
• Support SAP ECC and SAP FICO modules including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis and Internal Orders.
• Drive operational excellence through process optimization and automation.
• Develop and implement AIOps solutions to improve monitoring, alerting, and issue prediction.
• Identify recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Participate in digital transformation and finance modernization projects.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Procurement, and Treasury teams.
• Conduct user training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops.
• Gather business requirements and recommend process improvements.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases.

Job Brief

Key Responsibilities

Finance Systems Operations Support

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for global finance applications and services.
• Monitor production systems and ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of finance platforms.
• Perform incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and external vendors to resolve critical production issues.
• Support period-end close activities and ensure business continuity during financial reporting cycles.

SAP Finance Application Support

• Support SAP ECC and SAP FICO modules including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting , Cost Center Accounting , Profitability Analysis and Internal Orders
• Support integrations between SAP and downstream/upstream finance systems.

Continuous Improvement Automation

• Drive operational excellence through process optimization and automation.
• Develop and implement AIOps solutions to improve monitoring, alerting, and issue prediction.
• Identify recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Participate in digital transformation and finance modernization projects.

Business Partnership

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Procurement, and Treasury teams.
• Conduct user training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops.
• Gather business requirements and recommend process improvements.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases.

Technical Skills

• Experience supporting SAP ECC environments.
• Knowledge of finance-related applications such as: SAP BPC, Sabrix, Ariba, BlackLine and BRIM
• Strong incident management and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Production support and system monitoring experience.
• Understanding of application integrations and interfaces.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related discipline.
