What you’ll do

As Finance Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of financial management for the manufacturing business.   • Present detailed financial analysis, variance explanations, and actionable recommendations to senior management to inform key business decisions.
  • Ensure timely submission of group reporting as well as statutory reporting requirements by maintaining up-to-date records and adhering to deadlines.
  • Oversee product costing processes including standard costing updates, variance analysis, margin monitoring, and cost optimisation initiatives within manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor production costs, inventory valuation, work-in-progress (WIP), bill of materials (BOM) accuracy, and cost of goods sold (COGS) to maintain precise financial data.
  • Support continuous improvement projects aimed at optimisation of production costs and enhancing overall operational efficiency within the finance function.
  • Manage cash flow planning by overseeing working capital requirements and liquidity to ensure smooth business operations at all times.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory turnover rates while liaising with banks or financial institutions when necessary to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Establish strong internal controls within finance and manufacturing functions to ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS), and company policies.
