Finance Manager & Controller (Manufacturing)

As the Finance Manager & Controller at Pure Mylk Sdn Bhd, you will act as a strategic business partner to the CEO, playing a key role in steering the company’s financial strategy and overall performance. This role involves managing key stakeholders, monitoring business unit performance, controlling costs, and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting to support informed decision-making in a fast-growing plant-based manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the manufacturing operations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to the management team
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring efficient cash flow management
• Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to optimize financial performance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies
• Mentor and guide the finance team to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Professional Certification as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance or controller role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Proficient in financial reporting, analysis, and interpretation.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a finance team.
• Familiarity with startup/scale-up environments and ability to set up financial systems and processes from scratch is an advantage.
