  • Able to work remotely and independently with some travel to China.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the local accounting team, including regular travel to China.
  • Oversee daily cash receipts, credit management, sales posting, and supplier payments.
  • Perform monthly bank, customer, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and accounting standards, including timely month-end closing and reporting.
  • Monitor inventory control, costs, and related variances.
  • Conduct financial variance analysis, simulations, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Manage treasury activities and liaise with banks.
  • Oversee company secretarial matters, regulatory compliance, and legal coordination.
  • Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and enforce control frameworks.
  • Own the annual statutory audit process for Chinese legal entities.
  • Partner with Commercial and Service teams to provide financial support, contract review, demand and supply planning, and commercial performance analysis (sales, COGS, SG&A).
