Job summary

Starlite Printers in Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to oversee day-to-day financial operations, drive accurate monthly statements, and provide insightful analysis for management decision-making.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow, monitor costing and margins, and ensure compliance with SST, e-Invoice, and statutory requirements. Strong communication and Chinese language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, costing and cash flow management.
• Familiar with audit, SST, e-Invoice and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting systems; SAP experience is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Chinese for business communication is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Company’s day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory accounting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports for submission to the Holding Company.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning, and provide financial analysis to support management decision-making.
• Monitor product costing, gross profit margins and key financial performance indicators.
• Ensure proper internal controls and compliance with Company policies, accounting standards and relevant statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SST, e-Invoice and other applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant regulatory authorities.
• Review financial performance, identify variances and provide practical recommendations to Management.
• Support Management on financial planning, cost control and other finance-related matters.
• Other duties assigned by Management.
