Finance Manager (5-day work week, based in Shah Alam)

Job Description
We are currently hiring a Finance Manager reporting to the APAC Head of FPA and Financial Controls, focusing on full spectrum of Finance and Accounting functions.
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations for Malaysia and Singapore, including AP, AR, GL, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month‑end closing, preparation of financial statements, and management reports.
- Consolidate financial results for Malaysia and Singapore and provide variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
- Manage statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g., SSM, LHDN for Malaysia; ACRA, IRAS for Singapore).
- Handle corporate tax filings, GST/SST submissions, and other regulatory reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls and implement corporate finance policies.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for Malaysia and Singapore/Vietnam.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and provide actionable insights to management.
- Support business planning and profitability analysis.
Business Partnering
- Work closely with operational teams to provide financial advice on pricing, cost control, and investment decisions.
- Support regional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with APAC objectives.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members.
- Drive efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in finance processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance, or related field; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian and Singaporean statutory requirements and tax regulations.
- Experience in multi‑entity or regional finance management is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
