Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust financial strategies to drive business growth and operational efficiency;
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial models to support strategic planning;
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal standards;
- Perform detailed financial analysis to track performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for management;
3) Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal control procedures;
- Conduct financial risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks related to cash flow, investments, and financial operations;
4) Cash Flow & Investment Management
- Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow position and capital requirements;
- Evaluate investment opportunities and manage relationships with financial institutions;
5) Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with various departments to support financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation decisions;
- Provide financial guidance and support to operational and strategic initiatives;
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team;
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and process improvement;
7) Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies;
- Respond to financial queries and provide insights to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and investors; and
- Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent;
- Candidates with ACCA, CIMA, CFA or CPA will have an added advantage;
- Have at least 6 years of working experience in financial management with exposure to public-listed companies;
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP & IFRS), taxation and other regulatory financial reporting requirements;
- Analytical-minded, detail-oriented, strategic-thinker and highly organized;
- Have a high level of integrity and result-oriented, flexible, and able to meet deadlines;
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team; and
- Excellent communication skills, have a positive work attitude and able to work independently and as a team.
