A financial services firm based in Shah Alam is seeking a Finance Manager. You will oversee financial operations, manage accounts, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience in finance, preferably in the entertainment sector, and holds a relevant degree and professional qualifications. About the role
As the Finance Manager at IRDK Land Sendirian Berhad, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations and reporting. This is a full-time position based in our office in Shah Alam, Selangor. You will be responsible for managing the company's accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization's growth.
Manage and finalize daily sales report via accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance ( For Hotel Account with PMS reporting system knowledge- Room Booking,Booking.com and other online platform, Cinemax System (Vista System),Karaoke account, Conference banquet hall account and yearly audit and entertainment Tax.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, and liaise with external auditors
Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial processes to safeguard the company's assets
Provide financial data and analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning
Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Monitor hotel daily transactions and full set of accounts for hotel operations.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
Minimum 8 years to 10 Years of experience in a finance manager role, preferably in the entertainment line ( Hotel & Cinema account ).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control processes
Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
