THE IDEAL ONE

An experienced Finance Manager for our operations in Malaysia. You have over 10 years of progressive finance experience under your belt, with at least 5 years holding leadership responsibilities and with a track record of success in multinational / manufacturing / factory operations environments, you will be the leading light for the team. Your high integrity and attention to detail differentiates you from the rest. Along with strong change management competencies and coupled with your ability to build effective interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company make you a strong contender for this role. Your leadership and influencing skills, as well as your active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, will be key to success in this position.

This role is based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead a finance team and oversee the day-to-day finance operations for 3 entities in Malaysia, which include financial and management reporting and analysis, statutory reporting, taxation reporting, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, as well as oversee the on-time preparation of stand‑alone and consolidated financial statements, and monthly reporting packages to RHQ.
  • Responsible for year‑end statutory audit, timely preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors on various audit queries and issues.
  • Responsible for taxation matters including corporate income tax, SST, property tax, handling tax queries from tax authorities. And also responsible for transfer pricing analysis and documentations.
  • Partner with Business Unit Heads and Operations teams to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, provide financial insights and analysis to drive operational efficiency, cost control, and business performance improvements. Work closely with RHQ finance teams to align financial strategies and drive business growth.
  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking of financial and Capex budgets.
  • Provide technical expertise and strong mentorship to team members, ensuring high standards of performance and accuracy, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA) would be advantageous.
  • Bring at least 10 years of progressive finance experience in the Accounting and Finance field, of which at least 5 years holding leadership responsibilities and with a track record of success in multinational environments.
  • Accumulated finance experience in a manufacturing / factory operations setting is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate strong experience in multi‑entity consolidation, financial reporting, and navigating cross-border finance functions.
  • Showcase knowledge of IFRS, Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and familiarity with SAP would be advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.
