A leading Hunan cuisine chain restaurant in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Manager. This role involves developing financial strategies, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and providing operational support. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting or Finance, professional qualifications are a plus, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the F&B industry. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required.
Financial Strategy & Planning Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and controls to support company goals and ensure sound financial governance.
Budgeting & Forecasting Lead annual budgets and forecasts, monitor spending, and analyze variances to support cost control and decision‑making.
Financial Reporting Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management Manage daily cash flow, monitor liquidity, prepare cash projections, and maintain strong relationships with banks.
Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Coordinate with auditors and tax agents.
Accounts Management Oversee the full set of accounts and ensure all month‑end closing activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
Cost Control & Operational Support Work closely with operations to monitor food cost, wastage, and inventory variances, ensuring profitability and financial discipline at outlet level.
Ad-hoc Support Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis, support management decisions, and perform other duties as required.
