We are now seeking a capable and driven Finance Manager to set up and lead the finance team, working closely with our Finance Director and senior leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity for finance professionals who want to build processes from the ground up and contribute to a growing group’s success.

About the Role:

This role reports to the Finance Director and will initially be hands‑on to understand and streamline existing processes. You will then lead and develop the finance team (currently 2 staff) and take ownership of the full finance function across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full spectrum of finance: financial & management reporting, cash flow, funding, and budgeting.

Hands‑on involvement in setting up processes, SOPs, and internal controls for the group.

Manage day‑to‑day finance operations: collections, payments, monthly closing, reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards and statutory/regulatory requirements.

Drive the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.

Liaise with external parties: auditors, tax agents, legal advisors, and bankers.

Lead and develop the finance team with scope to expand.

Support the Finance Director and management with ad‑hoc projects and financial insights for strategic decisions.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or similar qualifications preferred).

Minimum 8 years’ experience, with 3+ years in a managerial role.

Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax, cash flow, and compliance.

Experience in property development and/or construction sector is highly preferred.

Proven track record in building processes and improving financial systems.

Hands‑on, adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in fast‑paced environments.

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience with SQL Accounting System is an advantage.

Why Join Us?

Opportunity to shape and lead the finance function in a fast‑growing group.

Work closely with an experienced Finance Director and dynamic leadership team.

Competitive remuneration and career growth opportunities.
