Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager with strong manufacturing accounting experience to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all general ledger matters, prepare monthly journals, and perform month-end closing processes.
• Conduct monthly analysis of production waste & scrap, direct labor, and raw material usage.
• Analyze monthly manufacturing expenses and perform bank and inventory reconciliations.
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet items.
• Compile monthly management reporting packages, including Profit & Loss (P&L) and balance sheet.
• Provide financial report commentaries and deliver presentations to management.
• Coordinate with Production Manager, Product Engineers, and Customer Service teams on costing matters.
• Liaise with external auditors for interim and annual audits.
• Collaborate with company secretaries on corporate documentation, including Director’s Circular Resolutions (DCR) and annual returns.
• Support coordination and consolidation of monthly management reports, budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses (including expenses analysis, controllable expenses, revenue ratios, and inter-company movements).
• Assist in corporate budget and forecast preparation, including drafting guidelines, appendices, templates, commentaries, and slide presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA member).
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in manufacturing (electronics/cable/wire harness industry advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation, and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in ERP systems, MS Excel (advanced), and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

We originally started with producing internal wiring (wire harness) for mainly audio visual equipment and have been producing and innovating internal/external cables, which include business machines and car audio equipment, and base assembly unit parts.
