A manufacturing company is seeking a Junior Financial Manager to oversee financial operations including reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in financial management and be familiar with tax regulations. Responsibilities include developing financial strategies, ensuring compliance, managing cash flow, and preparing financial reports. Junior Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operation of an organization through accurate reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. You will ensure that financial operations are align with business goals and regulatory standards and provide strategic financial guidance to support business objectives and project success. This position requires the candidate with at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in tax, audit, finance & accounting and at least 2 years in a managerial leadership role preferably in manufacturing company.
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Advise the Managing Director on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendation to enhance financial performance and business growth.
Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Monitor financial performance and prepare timely management reports for decision-making.
Identify and analyze trends, variances, and risks to support strategic decisions.
Oversee accounting, audit, tax, and financial reporting functions.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations, and corporate governance standards.
Establish and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Manage risks related to finance, investments, and operations.
Implement policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity and accountability.
Oversee liquidity management, working capital optimization, and funding requirements.
Manage banking relationships and capital structure (debt/equity financing).
Ensure effective cash flow planning and control.
Manage tax planning, compliance, and filing, while liaising with external tax advisors and auditors.
Lead annual statutory audit and internal audit processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare and present timely financial reports, management accounts
Conduct variance analysis, profitability studies, and cost management initiatives.
Review project performance, including delays, cost overruns, and margin variances.
Provide cash flow projections and liquidity management.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to support business needs.
Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
Obtained Professional qualification (CPA, CFA or equivalent) would be added advantage.
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management, accounting & audit with at least 2 years in a managerial leadership role.
Prior experience in manufacturing company is desired.
Familiar with tax regulation and compliance process.
Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and forecasting.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen.
