Job description
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Degree, or Advanced Degree, preferably in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field with managerial or supervisory capacity; experience in manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, passionate about teamwork and collaboration; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternative solutions when facing new challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to navigate unexpected situations or conditions effectively.

  • Strong knowledge of applicable accounting standards, system automation, and business solution software.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports for submission to management; ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Provide monthly performance, expense, and variance analysis for management and operation review.
  • Lead the finance team for all aspects of financial accounting, including manufacturing accounts, accounts receivable/payable, inventory, and general ledger; ensure proper posting and timely month-end closing.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital, including preparation of cash flow forecasts, treasury, and banking/financing arrangements.
  • Prepare forecast and annual budget, and monitor budget performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Assist in establishing accounting workflows and internal controls to ensure efficient information flow and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and follow up on audit findings.
  • Prepare monthly tax estimates and coordinate with tax agents for annual tax submissions.
  • Liaise with bankers, company secretary, tax authorities, government departments, and other relevant stakeholders.
